Customer photo review of FlexSolo Gun Magnet Mount - Holds Up to 43 Pounds - Perfect for Cars, Gun Safes, Offices

Installation took longer than expected. Even with pilot holes drilled the little screw heads stripped out before I could get them fully seated. Had to buy new ones from hardware store and new set of small Philips head screwdrivers . Once installed it was surprising how powerful the magnet is. It will literally snatch the weapon out of your hand. Removing it takes some force as well. Overall happy with it but the installation could be improved. Also thicker rubber might be good to lesson the force of the magnet.

Store owner replied: Hey Daniel, delayed response ----- just wanted to circle back on your feedback of our FlexSolo. You'd be happy to know that we are improving the hardware that comes with the kit. Comments like this really helps keeps us honest and there's still work to be done. But overall -- it's awesome that the FlexSolo is working out!

Rubber ripped & exposed metal magnet damaged the slide of my firearm. Damaged occurred on the very first time using this item. Customer service was unable to do anything for the damage of my firearm & unable to do anything for the damage of the magnet. Really liked the Bravo Belt itself but the magnet didn’t last any more than 10 minutes after installation.

FlexSolo Gun Magnet Mount - Holds Up to 43 Pounds - Perfect for Cars, Gun Safes, Offices

The idea is a great one, holding a handgun out of general view with a strong magnet. The magnet is indeed strong enough. The shortfall, and what has steered me away from this idea, is the thin and delicate rubber over the magnet on the gun touching surface. Second time removing the handgun the rubber coating (can’t even call it a covering) ripped and exposes now the magnet (metal) to the gun. Do not buy this particular product.
